Many different types of rolling bearings, the choice may consider the following factors, which to choose.
1. Payload size, direction and nature: ball bearings suitable for light load to bear, roller bearings suitable for heavy load and impact load. 3. Rigidity: bearings under load, the bearing rings and rolling elements contact point will produce elastic deformation, the deformation is proportional to the load, the ratio determines the size of the bearing stiffness. Generally by bearing preload to improve the rigidity of the bearing; addition, the design of the bearing support, considering the combination and arrangement of the bearing can also improve the support rigidity of the bearing.
4. Aligning performance and installation error: bearing into the working position, it is often due to manufacturing errors caused by poor installation and positioning. At this time often due to produce fishing degree axis and thermal expansion and other reasons, the bearing to put too much load, cause early damage. Automatic self-aligning bearing can overcome defects caused by the installation error, so it is suitable for such purpose bearings.
5. Installation and Removal: Tapered roller bearings, needle roller bearings and tapered roller bearings, inner and outer rings are separable bearing type (the so-called separation of bearings), easy installation and removal.
